Connected Instagram/Facebook (social wall)
A post gets onto a venue's social wall in one of two ways. If the venue has connected its own Instagram account, the guest tags the venue's account on the photo and no code is needed. If the venue has not connected its own account, the guest tags our account @jukedj_official on the photo and writes the night's code from the venue's screens into the caption. We do not read mentions in captions or Stories, only tags on the photo.
A venue that connected its own Instagram account and Facebook Page for the social wall can end the connection and delete the data in two ways:
- Disconnect in the portal: in the signage.jukedj.com portal (or in the JukeDJ app in the social wall settings) choose Disconnect Instagram. We immediately delete the access tokens and all posts retrieved through this account (both awaiting approval and approved) together with their images, so they also disappear from the screens. Where possible, we also revoke at Meta the permissions you granted to the JukeDJ Social Wall app. We do not revoke them only when the same person has also connected another account through Facebook, because that would disconnect it as well.
- Remove the app on Facebook: on Facebook open Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations, select the JukeDJ Social Wall app and choose Remove. Meta then sends us a request and we automatically and immediately delete the access tokens and data of all accounts you connected to JukeDJ through Facebook, including the posts retrieved through them and their images. If you also request deletion of your data, we additionally delete the list of blocked authors of the venues whose own account it was, and Facebook shows you a confirmation code and a link to the status page https://api.jukedj.com/v2/social/meta/deletion-status?code=…, where you can check with the code that the request has been completed.
What is deleted and when:
- Meta access tokens and the connected account details (Instagram account ID and username, Page name and ID, the ID of the person who connected the account), immediately,
- posts retrieved through the connected account (authors' usernames, captions, times, links) and their images, immediately. Even without a disconnection, we delete post data at the end of the venue's night at the latest and images within 24 hours of download at the latest,
- the list of blocked authors is part of the venue's settings and is deleted when the authors are unblocked, when the venue's account is deleted or on a data deletion request when the app is removed on Facebook.
Authors of social wall posts
If your Instagram post appeared on a venue's screens and you want it taken down or its data deleted, email support@jukedj.com. Include your Instagram username and the link to the post, or the venue's name and the date. We take the post off the screens without undue delay and delete its data. During the night you can also ask the venue's staff. You have no account with us, so there is nothing else to delete. Even without a request, we delete post data at the end of the venue's night at the latest and images within 24 hours.
What is deleted
- the DJ profile, sign-in account, profile photo and event images,
- all the DJ's events with their requests, messages, ratings and connected guests,
- Spotify, TIDAL and Apple Music connections,
- the connected Instagram account and Facebook Page, social wall posts and the list of blocked authors,
- any active subscription is cancelled.
What is kept
- records of payments, refunds, tips and subscriptions (with us and with Stripe) for 10 years, as accounting and VAT law requires,
- the Stripe Connect payout account, which the DJ manages directly with Stripe.
